I have found that once people find out that I am going to dental school that they need to tell me about how their dentist does this or doesn't do that? It's kind of cool at first, but now it's getting a little old. Is this a common experience among other predents?

Bad news: it's going to happen for the rest of your career, except that once you're in school and practice, they'll also start asking for professional advice out of the clear blue sky. 😉

Good news: you'll get used to it. Before long it'll just be something you expect to happen and don't think too much about.
