So, I've got a little bit of extra time this summer between work, networking and shadowing. I wanted to ask the SDN community, especially those that have gone to medical school, what are some things that premedical students should focus on learning or prepping for before medical school? I'm taking classes, I'm volunteering, I'm shadowing, I'm working on an EMT and/or CNA and I spend time reading SDN threads 🙂 What are things I can do in my down time in anticipation of medical school?

**Note: This is meant to be a list of extracurricular things, but any suggestions, from recommended classes to general knowledge, would be appreciated 🙂

Honestly, don't study any medicine. When you start school you will be inundated with medicine. Take the time during the summer to spend time with friends and family. While you will never lose contact with them during medical school, there will be times that you are unable to be around them as much as you would like.
