Post your experiences about things you found yourself avoiding in the First Aid and the reason.
Could be anything- Tables, diagrams/pictures, formulas, equations or a particular topic.
For example--Developmental milestones, twinning diagram on page 561
Also, would you rather have more space to write on instead of having that particular table or diagram/picture ?

Developmental milestones is a good one.

I also hated all the rhombosenphelon, telecephalon crap. I actively decided not to learn it and my first freaking question on my exam yeaterday was on it...
 
I would rather have the entire book with no pictures than have half decent-sized ones and the rest 0.5in x 0.5in. Can't even tell what anything is in a lot of them. Eliminating would leave more room to write and make the book seem like it's less dense. It'd be nice to have a separate atlas whether in print, cd or e-link for images that would allow you to see them at a reasonable size and would leave room for more helpful/longer captions and descriptions.

Edit: come to think of it, can't even tell what anything is in like 90% of them. It ends up making me look in another book or online for a better example every time. Either go all in with a print/e-version adjunct for images and descriptions, or just remove them entirely.

The other issue is that they're not only small, but a lot of the pictures are the ****tiest examples I've ever seen of the pathology they're demonstrating.

p97 metabolic summary. I just can't wrap my mind around the big picture of metabolism. Teaching this piecewise with multiple professors is probably the worst thing you can do to a student but that's what my school does.
 
Onc drugs table is a mess, particularly s/e column. They all say some variation of bone marrow suppression and GI N/V/D, but each one uses different words. Taking it all out for one line at the top of the table would clean it up, then it's much cleaner and easier to read, and we can focus on the unique s/e.
 
The lipid transport, key enzymes (pg 114) diagram. That image just completely steers me away from wanting to review lipid transport and the apolipoproteins.
