So I was just looking at my Degree Progress Report to try to figure out how to plan my college career and I realized that unless I bust my balls cramming my 3rd and 4th year, I won't fulfill my Psycho-bio major requirements. I'm a 2nd year right now and I was wondering if it would be "bad" to graduate in 5 years instead of 4.
From my perspective, if I graduate in 5 years, I have more time to relax and get better grades in my harder classes as well as get 4 year's worth GPA into the Dental School apps instead of just 3 years. I'm a 2nd year and my cumulative GPA is 3.16...I messed around too much in my first year. I've been posting A/A-'s since the past Summer and if I can keep the ball rolling by my 4th year, I can have like a 3.6 GPA.
It sounds like a good plan to me, but can someone tell me if this is just wishful thinking.
