Hey everyone.

I'm a junior in HS who's very interested in medicine. My school doesn't have any health-related interest clubs, and I saw that a local HS in our area has a Red Cross Club. This sounds really interesting and I think it would look good on my college apps as someone go wants to major in neuroscience w/ a pre-med track.

My question is, what could we do in the club? We'd probably have monthly meetings, but what would we talk about or do? I was thinking maybe organize a blood drive and teach CPR (I'm certified) but what else??
Tips/advice are very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Think about bringing in Physician/EMT/RN speakers. Educate your school and community on the importance of giving blood; describe the current need in your area. Possibly brainstorm more ideas at your first meeting. You'll be surprised how many great ideas your team can think of. Good luck!
