As posted in the Second Batch thread, they're on completed apps of 6/28 at today! Looks like its taking about 2 weeks to get GPA verified and will probably take longer as time goes on and more apps are submitted.

wow thats slow. They were done with 25th for 2nd batch applicants so it just moved by 2 days. Guess they have lots of app.

Are you sure about this. Did you confirm this with AADSAS. I thought as long you are verified by Friday morning you will be mailed out that Friday.

aadsas verification of gpa happens before your app can go out in the next batch. for example, my gpa was verified yesterday, so my app should be sent out in this fridays batch. everythings electronic, so the batch refers to the date when all the schools you designated can instantly see your final, completed app. every batch goes out on friday, and this friday the 13th will be the 3rd batch.

nope it hasnt....i think itll only update on the 13th. pending it gets sent out this friday and not next! ahhhh. k im gonna call them right now to check loll.

I think batch # does matter. The earlier the better... Most schools like a hard copy (???). I'm not sure exactly, but I do know they can officially view our app online once our GPA is calculated.

you might wanna call just to make sure you completed everything so that it DOES go out on friday. the guy double checked for me just to make sure.

sweet! i just called again and they said i'm in this friday's batch too. i'm glad the other person i talked to was wrong...

but the lady i just talked to said that if your GPA is verified by wednesday evening or thursday morning then you'll most likely be in the fourth batch (next fridays) for any of those who are curious 🙂

I can't give a definitive answer, but I can say this. Take a breath. If you've talked to AADSAS and things have changed under your designations section, you'll be fine and your app will go out. Far too early to start the panic for no reason.

I know! Lol I actually saw the nurse practitioner today at my school and asked her to write me a prescription for my inhaler... 😳

Good news: Things are moving on AADSAS, it now lists the mail date as 7/13 under "Dental School Designations" and "Evaluations". Yay!

Quick question: Is anyone taking their DAT in July? I was signed up for 7/17 but I pushed it to mid-August so I could cram a little more info... now I'm wondering if that's borderline 'late'...
