Don't worry we're all going through the same thing. I felt the same when I was entering my first year grades. Just keep on working at it. Hopefully it will pay off in the end. 👍

It's best if you think of the whole process as a game. Though the "game" has rules, referees, and logic, there is always an element of chance. If you happen to be interviewed by a doc whose daughter/son/dog/cat died that day, then it is very unlikely that you will gain admittance to that school. Whenever the human element (e.g. interviews) enters an equation, it becomes inherently unpredictable.

The most important piece of advice I can give you is this:
Do NOT pin your sense of self-worth to the med school admissions process.

There are thousands of applicants and committees have neither the time nor resources to give each person the consideration they deserve. Hence GPA, MCATs, brief CVs are the watchword.

Just stock up on liquor. It makes the process WAY less annoying and maybe even fun. 👍
