Look, this girl is both ditzy and ugly. She has no chance of either getting into a competitive specialty or getting a high-flying alpha attending surgeon to commit to her.

I agree with you that it's stupid to stereotype. In my experience, the smartest people always rise to the top and can find ways to enhance their appearance upon getting there. E.g., I know of a girl who just didn't take care of herself until she started getting derm interviews and, after a brief hair/makeup/clothes makeover, she landed a residency at Yale and is now doing really well for herself. Fixing stupidity or personality isn't as easy as dropping $100 on a haircut, shimmying into a $800 dress, and buying a pair of $500 shoes.

Hey phnerd, please don't take my comments offensively. I was simply just making a comparison, and I admit it was a kind of stupid one. I had a lot of admissions officers "judge a book by its cover" in my case this year, and I don't think it was very fair. Things ended up working out for the best I guess, and I although the cycle is not entirely over for me yet, I am still quite happy with my choices even though human bias is a powerful trait I very much am against.

I just get mad when I see posts like this judging a poor girl as stupid because she is good looking (and seems a bit ditzy), that's all. Notice how I have not posted on this forum in weeks, and I don't intend to post unless I get seriously angered by something. I have nothing against asian or indian girls, and there are many many attractive females.

PS: I am sure you are a very attractive asian female. I am also sure varsity blue thinks she is too 🙂

A lot of people use celebrities in their scales and I refrain from doing that considering all the make up and money that goes into their appearance and all. so, for an everyday, on a typical day, "normal" people you meet, I think this girl's hot. and there doesn't seem to be too much makeup or hardly any at all which is good 'cause it's natural. natural beauty = winning! 👍

Although it is kind of creepy that you found her on, I'm assuming, Facebook and Twitter, did anyone else have the urge to suddenly create a Twitter account.

And also that girl is extremely good looking. It's hard to tell if shes above an "8.5 or 9" or whatever, but the point is she is very cute/sexy and it probably in the 99 percentile for looks for females in this country and probably on SDN/medical school. And I'm sure VarsityBlue is hideous, but with regards to her, the **** she says is so idiotic, I'm now convinced it is a very elaborate joke on everybody.

She keeps her facebook, last bame, and school private and I respected that. But she heavily crosslinks her youtube, twitter, blog, and other advice / Q&A websites. You don't need your own twitter account to see hers. She is actively marketing herself, her opinions, and her looks on the internet for whatever reason.

And they are good looks.
