Bit of a dilemma with my upcoming semester's schedule. I recently acquired a research position at my state universities medical school. Great. The experiments that will going on involve rats, and according to USDA regulations a certain period of time has to elapse for the rats to be treated properly. The period of time the experiments will be conducted will be on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9AM till however long is necessary. Again, damn awesome. Now the dilemma. I need a math this semester, either calculus or statistics and it just so happens that calculus starts at 11AM Tuesdays and Thursdays. Taking calculus would likely interfere with the beginning of my research (more like reading a whole lot, and watching a tech do some procedures). There is an online statistics class that I can take and I may do that, however, will taking an online statistics class suck? What would you vets on SDN do? Take calculus this semester and have it interfere with some very interesting research, or take the online stats class?
