Hi guys! This Friday I am interviewing for Thomas Jefferson University’s BS/MS OT program. It is a group interview and I am so very nervous. Can you guys let me know what types of questions they will ask, and how do group interviews work? Should I be raising my hand every question? Do I always raise my hand first? Help please

Hello I interviewed there back in November for their entry level MSOT degree, so it might be different questions for the BS/MS degree. But they pick who they want to speak first and they switch up the order for every question. Also, they might ask every candidate different questions, so don’t necessarily prepare for an answer for a question they asked another candidate (they’ll explain all of this to you). Ultimately, it was pretty low key, the interviewers were very kind, and the questions weren’t too bad. Mainly self-reflection questions and situational questions. They also have you pair up and discuss with your partner some type of OT situation and what programs you would implement, goals for that specific group, etc. overall, not too bad, a little intimidating, but everyone is really nice! Good luck!

How were the situational questions? Were they like OT situations?

When did you interview?! But I have not yet, I'm the same way! Every time I get an email notification I check it lol
I was there on October 25th...they did two days of interviewing in October 25th/26th. Now I guess we're all waiting for decisions!

I also got my acceptance email on Wednesday 11/13/19 after interviewing on 11/01!
