Hi everyone - what did you think of Hopkins cardiology compared to other academic programs? Do you think the clinical volume is good? Just wanted to get a sense overall of the program. Thanks!

Very strong overall reputation (based on US news, public perception etc). Clinical program is good (there are better ones in the country).
EP (Hugh Calkins-ARVD) and cardiac CT/prevention programs are well known. HF-transplant numbers are low. Structural/interventional is okay. I would think that the fellowship experience should be okay since fellows also rotate at Bayview, which supplements clinical training.
Strong ties with School of public health should help those interested in clinical research.
