thoughts on specialized LOR to dream med school from a DO doctor who attended there?

I am going to be shadowing a DO physician who also happened to have attended a school that I really want to get accepted to. I am planning to politely ask him if he can write me two letters of recommendation, one general (for all DOs) and one specific to that school (talking about how I would be a good fit).
What do yall think about this LOR?

Writing two letters might be asking too much. A general letter is fine, and the fact that he's an alumnus of the school adds a plus to your app.

I did this for an MD program and they didn't end up interviewing me. If the physician is willing to write two, then i dont think it would hurt, however I also dont think it will move the needle if you arent already a mission fit at the program.
