Has anyone tested this common statement found on Medical School Admission pages? Reason I is that many schools which have this statement also have earliest MCAT acceptance dates of September 2016 on MSAR? My mcat was taken July 9th 2016. Should I be OK applying to these schools? I thought I was and now I'm suddenly looking ta a greatly diminished school list 3 weeks out from when I planned to submit my application. Will schools stick to MSAR or their website? For schools that accept my MCAT on MSAR and their native webpage, will they wait for a pending MCAT before reviewing my application/ sending an interview invite?

Always best to just call the ADCOMs for your schools. I had a similar question about how long they would accept MCAT scores... at least three of the schools I called that had the "three year" statement about MCAT scores said you would be good if, for example, you were applying this year (2019-2020 cycle) and you took the MCAT at any point in 2017, 2018, or 2019. In other words, these schools said scores that were valid for the 2019-2020 cycle would have been earned between January 2017 to September (I think one had October??) of 2019... which is three full years of MCAT scores. Hope that helps
