Just as the title says...whats the shortest, longest, and average amount of time you usually have to wait once u finish interviewing till you get a response?

The shortest I know is from SUNY Upstate with 3 week turnaround. However, I think they're approaching about 4 weeks.

6 days shortest for me. I think somebody applying to a DO school on here was told on the spot that s/he was in. Ask 'em at the interview day, they'll usually give you a straightforward answer.

Interviewed at Tulane on the 8th accepted via a letter dated the 23rd.

shortest has been 7 days for me (Temple), and the others (Pitt and SLU), were both about 5 weeks.

Ohio State makes a decision the same day you interview, and I think lets you know the decision within a week or two...my turnaround time may have been particularly fast b/c i interviewed right before the first allowed acceptance date...it was only a six day wait!!!

The longest would be the non-rolling schools. I interviewed at Cornell during one of the first few interview days in September, and I won't find out until March. 🙁

A buddy of mine on SDN interviewed last Monday and will hear from them tomorrow...pretty awesome turnaround time if you ask me👍
