this process can be excruciatingly long, just look at the folks who where (are) still talking about waitlist that they got put on for the 2001 entering class.
count on a long wait for most things, this is especially true for most of the folks who have average or below average numbers.
the ball keeps rolling, but for a seemingly large majority, it pauses here and there.
anyhow, i was talking to somebody that goes to a med school in boston (umass?), she brought up a good point:
when you are in medschool, you never look back at the process and wish you would have worried more.
i am a firm believer that if people are motivated enough, things will work-out. 😎
also, not that anybody wants to hear this, but many people have to apply a few times. we aren't all blessed with incredibly big brains, great schools, and the ability to get awesome numbers.
those damn big brains! 😀
