I got my verification email from aacomas on Friday morning, saying that My application would be sent out "next week". I was sort of expecting (foolishly, I suppose) that things would speed up a bit once my app got past the verification stage (I had secondaries in my inbox the morning after my amcas was verified). Alas, it's been four days since that email, and it doesn't even appear as though my application's been sent out to schools.

Does anyone know if apps are sent out to schools electronically or if they're mailed off? What sort of a timeline should I expect post-verification?

Mine got verified last Wed or Thurs and still nothing... they haven't released them to the schools yet. They've got a horrible system.

I was verified beginning of August and released to all schools 3 days later. Got CCOM a few days after that. AZCOM about a week later. Western 2 weeks later. I recently added PCOM after verification, but it has not been submitted yet. NYCOM has not breathed a single word to me that they even know of my existence.

It took about a week for my application to be released to the schools after AACOMAS verified it. From the one admissions coordinator that I spoke to, it sounds as if AACOMAS makes your application available for the schools to download it. It sounded to me that at this particular school of which I inquired, the applications are downloaded in batch cycles, but they didn't indicate how often. So, it probably just depends on the school as to when they download your application after it has been released. But, I'm no expert on these matters. Just thought I'd share my experience.
