Does anyone know if time is a big constraint on the USMLE? I'm finishing my UWorld blocks with anywhere from 13-20 mins left, but when I took my first NBME I had maybe a minute left to go in each block. I'm assuming most responses will be that it is much like the NBMEs, but any insight from prior test takers would be greatly appreciated!

My roommate just recently took the Step I and here's what he had to say:
He used to finish uworld with 20 mins to spare but on the day of the test he had a mere 5. Said it was just enough time to look over marked questions once, but thats about it. He didn't mention any correlation to NBME though timewise so I can't really comment on that.

This is a very user-dependent type of question. I mean, I have 20 minutes to go usually at the end of a World block because there are questions i don't spend a lot of time on because they are easy, and i just click and move on. On the real test, you may spend a lot of time on a question you wouldn't have on World just because you're (a) nervous and (b) it actually counts. It could be the same exact questions. So to answer your question, if you spend more time on questions on the real test, YES time will be more of an issue.
