Thank goodness, downside of being accepted in Dec is having to wait another 5 months for school to begin, 8 for most.

And I dont have undergrad stuff to keep me busy.

You might wanna change your status back to "pre-dental" since you technically isn't a dental student yet. It's really vexing (and confusing to a degree) to see so many SDN'ers who got accepted on Dec. 1st change their status to "dental student" when the school hasn't even started. No, you are still a predent. Change it when you start dental school. Thanks. 🙄

I'm pretty sure thats a good problem to have 😛. I'm out of school too but keeping busy with home improvement courses.

I have to disagree with you. When I meet someone new now, and they inquire about what I "do", I don't say I am a Pre-Dent. I say I'm going to Dental School. Let's see, I've given my deposits, accepted my loans, filled out all the paperwork. After all my hard work, I think it's okay if I call myself a Dental Student on the INTERNET a few months early.

Yeah, I've been taking current students' advice and went on a couple of vacations to see my relatives in my home country, while I still can. All the while doing a little bit a studying and dreading the day I start my express summer GA classes.

I just changed it yesterday, about a month when I'm due to start school. I have my class schedule, accepted my loans, found housing, got my student ID, got my school e-mail. For all intends and purposes, I'm pretty much a dental student.

On the contrary, this post is completely unrelated to what we're talking about and frankly a bit confusing. So please stay on topic. Thanks. 😉
