I'm not familiar with the Filipino medical school schedule. Is there sufficient time given to study for the USMLE 1 after the second year. Replies are appreciated. Thx.

One of the few person who can answer your question is DocTan as he did it. On schools with PBL system it may be possible but as he said before, it is a lot of hard work which includes studying for USMLE during the semesters and Kaplan during the Philippines summer break sometime in March.

1st -3rd yr of medschool starts in the 1st week of June and ends in March. Summer break of 2nd yr is when the students do their research projects. You can study during summer break which is 2 months.
