If everything goes smoothly, I can graduate with a degree in Biochem, which leaves me one free semester before another yearly cycle begins in fall. Should I use that extra semester's time to get a minor in Biology(that would mean taking five more classes, full time) or do you think that gaining experience in pharmacy or doing volunteer work is better for your resume? I would attempt to do both but my weakness in biology might just end up hurting my GPA...
So, would it be better getting a minor or just work experience...?

I would say the experience. If you already have all of the bio prereq's you should be fine. Experience is important for your application, so if you don't have any you should start getting some ASAP.
