I was complete on most of my applications at the end of july. My stats are 3.94 GPA, 32R MCAT. I have lots and lots of volunteering experience, and research as well. I was unsure about my MCAT score so I applied to many schools (around 20). It has been almost two months now, and I have only heard back from five of the schools--3 interview invites and 2 rejections.
I'm really happpy for the interview invites, and they are at schools I like. But I am confused as to why I've only heard back from 5 schools thus far...It's been somewhat disappointing. People that were complete much later than me have already received invites. I was hoping to have heard back from more than 5 by now.
I know that schools are different, and there really isn't an exact answer to my questions. But by approximation, should I hope for any more interviews? I realize that schools continue interviewing tiill the end of february, but I'm confused as to why I haven't heard anything for close to 2 months from the majority of my schools. I also had a balanced list--decent amount of safeties and some reaches.
