I have a girlfriend who is currently a dental student at a local UNI. I only see her once or twice a week due to her courseload. I figure we'll have to break it off once I matriculate because we'll never be able to make it work if we're both in GME

you sound like a younger, less good looking version of me. I broke up w/ my gf (dental student) b/c i was too ambitious. i regret it bc it's hard to find another person who is able to connect with you. it can work but you have to really love that person to make the sacrifices.

I know I wouldn't be able to keep up a healthy relationship in addition to medical studies. Plus we are just dating casually, no "I love you's" yet.

Would I regret it? Maybe. I've been turning it over in my head for a while and I haven't made any progress...

SO and I are accepted to the same med schools. Sometimes at night I lay awake wondering how I'll escape med school debt

But then I quickly fall asleep when I remember we'll have a dual physician income [emoji41]
