For those currently in dentistry school:

What does your typical class schedule look like?(please list school of attendence)
Do you feel that you have plenty of time to pursue other activities?

I train for marathons, so I need to have a minimum of 1-2 hours to devote my time to working out everyday and get plenty of rest/sleep, although I understand that as a student it's inevitable to get a full night's rest all the time and seems like a luxury for some.

I just want to get a feel for the demands and work load.

I'd say you would have the most free time if you stuck to pharmacy. It's usually my pharmacy freinds who are at the gym all day and partying 4nights/week. Dental School is 8-5 mon-fri.

If you want to make time for the gym, you can. I have plenty of time to do the things I want, need to do and still get all of my work done. That being said there will be some days where its not in the cards, but that's just life.

You should have time if you plan accordingly. First year is the most time consuming at UOP, but if it's something you want to do, I'm sure you'll manage to find time. I think I spent about 90-100 hours per week doing school related stuff during the first year.
