For CP and BS, especially CP, don't read like you would for CARS. Skim to get the gist (reactions, experiment set ups, graphs)- this will let you know what the main topics are. Highlight the constants and important nuances (ie. why they use a certain element or compound), and then tackle the questions. Most of the time, you can answer the questions without referring to the passage. If a question prompts you to a part of the passage (ie. a particular graph), you can refer back to the passage. After doing a number of practice passages, you kind of get what the important things are and most often, what you need to answer the question is already highlighted. This is what I did and I normally have ~14 mins to spare to go over my answers (Kap FL1 and 2- got 128 and 130 for CP, respectively- just for reference for those who are interested).
