Okay, so, I'm starting to worry about my timing on these passages in the TBR books. I'm noticing I'm taking a lot more time than I'd like on each passage. It really depends on the passage but many are taking 10+ minutes. I think my approach is understanding the material thoroughly and really thinking about the process rather than timing myself. Is this a huge mistake?

I'm hoping my timing gets better with mastery of the material but I'm not there yet. Currently doing 1/3s in the books.

Timing is important, but if you need more time to understand and finish, do it. Some passages I finished in 4 minutes, and some took me 12. For BR I usually did number of questions + 1 = time in minutes for the passage. All in all, try to improve your timing, but definitely don't rush the learning/understanding part.
