***TMDSAS 2016***

for all who did not get in on December 1st; my daughter applied last cycle. she had two pre-December interviews....one out of state and at Houston. she heard nothing December 1st. she also had two post December interviews, uthscsa and Baylor. ended up getting accepted to both uthscsa and Baylor! she's now enjoying her 1st year of dental school at Baylor. so don't give up just yet.
 
Did anyone that interviewed in Houston on 11/17/15 got accepted on December 1st? I was thinking a decision on December for that interview date would have been too early?

I know a guy in a past cycle that interviewed the week before at Houston and received an acceptance on Dec 1st.
Try not to rack your brain on it too much it will just stress you out.

YES 🙂 I will never give up. I am just trying to fill my bag of hope as much as I can 🙂 I remember you too from last cycle. BTW, are you applying to the post-bacc program again this year?

Does anyone know if SA and Baylor will be sending out any more interview invites this month?

Will be early/mid Jan before anyone hears again. They give those people 30 days to decide.

Oh, even for interview invites? Houston gave me about two weeks' notice for my interview there - how long of a notice do SA and Baylor give?

SA and Houston gave me a weeks notice. Baylor gave me 3 weeks notice.

I will, but I am probably be attending an out of state school if I have to.

Rejected by Baylor. Kinda figured since I didn't get a pre dec interview and they've accepted so many already

When was your post-dec interview and when was the date that the portal changed the status? If you don't mind me asking.

That's a good question. I'm not sure, I filled out both a tmdsas and aadsas app and on my aadsas app I put all 3 Texas dental schools as well. Baylor is the only one of the 3 that shows up on my aadsas portal.

Has anyone who has gotten into UT Houston received a formal letter in the mail? I haven't gotten anything from them since the first email on Dec 1, so just curious!

Only got the email no letter. I sent them a response on Dec 1st letting them know I was accepting and they replied to that.

Don't forget to send your letter of intent if you haven't already.
 
Congrats to everyone who got accepted! To those who havent yet, theres still tons of time. Please take my word for it! I'm currently a student at UTHSCSA willing to talk to anyone who got accepted or are deciding between my school and another one. Drop a DM if you have any questions
