Hi all!
Has anyone else had this problem? I'm attempting to fill out the TMDSAS application and am unsure how to report my undergraduate studies. I graduated many years ago with two undergraduate degrees--not two majors, but two different degrees--a bachelor of arts, and a bachelor of business administration. I worked toward both and received both at the same time. I was able to fill out the AMCAS app just fine because they allow you to specify multiple bachelors degrees from the same institution, but TMDSAS only allows multiple majors.
TMDSAS online help says to add a new entry for "each degree type" (bachelors, masters, etc) at each school, which seems to suggest that I list that school only once, but that doesn't seem right since I actually earned two full degrees and there's nowhere else in the app to specify that. I went ahead and put the school in there twice thinking that would solve my problem, but then I got to the "Record of College Work." Now the problem is that some of the classes I took like all the English and some of the Math and Statistics and Humanities courses I took counted toward both degrees.
I don't know if I should put all my classes under one degree and leave the other empty, or if I should try to split them up the best I can, but then the coursework won't reflect the degree requirements. Or should I repeat some of the classes under each entry to accurately reflect the degree requirements, but then that would seem to misrepresent how many classes I had to take. Or should I bite the bullet and just put my second degree as a second major under the first degree?
Anybody have any suggestions,
Sonny
