TMDSAS Eval and Interfolio Question

On the TMDSAS instructions, it says that "Be sure your evaluators include your TMDSAS ID on evaluations. Individual letters should be accompanied by the TMDSAS evaluation form...". If I was using interfolio, and I'm also doing AMCAS as well, how do I do this???

Do I just tell my evaluator to send the LOR with TMDSAS ID and a separate evaluation form? Also, what happens if I send letters through AMCAS? Would these schools see my TMDSAS ID and also the TMDSAS eval form? There seems to be a lot of possible confusion going on.

Question to Interfolio:
I have a quick question regarding the service provided. Alright, I am applying to medical school this next cycle and I'm wanting to use this service to send letters to TMDSAS the Texas app service. The TMDSAS requires a special form with the letter, so I know i can have a letter writer send a letter with the TMDSAS together and be on file in interfolio, but is there a possibility to send the letter from interfolio to some schools excluding the TMDSAS from accompanied with it so I can send some letters to individual schools that are not in Texas. I'm asking this because the TMDSAS evaluation form and letter will be one file, and I'll need to just exclude the TMDSAS form for some schools outside of Texas if I decide to send elsewhere.

Answer:
This is definitely possible. I would recommend that you make a separate requests for your letters and for your TMDSAS evaluation forms. This way the documents will automatically be stored separately but can be sent together to TMDSAS for processing (they definitely will accept deliveries in this manner). If the letters and forms are submitted together, an administrator such as myself can separate the files on your behalf.

TMDSAS: The evaluation form and letter must be sent together – either directly to Interfolio or to TMDSAS. We prefer that it come directly to TMDSAS. There is no charge to use our service and less chance for the letter to be lost or not delivered. However, if you want to pay to use their service, you can have the evaluation form and letter sent to Interfolio. You will then need to request that Interfolio deliver the form and letter to TMDSAS.

I don't understand what this means. What does TMDSAS mean that Interfolio can't send these two together? Didn't Interfolio just answer this questions? I'm so confused haha.

lol that's what got me too! I think she is wrong, because the other email she says you can send both to interfolio then to tmdsas, and interolio says that as well, and if you want to separate the form and letter for any reason you can etc.

you can email tmdsas and ask the same question and see what they say. Then update this.

Another part I've having a problem with is this section: "Evaluators who choose to mail in their letter MUST mail letters to TMDSAS in an official school or business envelope. The letter MUST contain the evaluator's name, title...."

If they accept Interfolio, how does this make sense? Does this mean that evaluators can only do this online if they want to send through interfolio??? I called 2 years back and they said that this was okay, so I'm not sure if this does not apply to interfolio.
