TMDSAS Question

Sorry to post this in it's own thread, but my questions are sometimes missed in the monster thread.

Are we required to submit our fall '04 transcripts to TMDSAS in order to match?

If so, are we required to submit our transcripts prior to the Jan 15th date?

I can't find any information specifically instructing us to submit our grades. I know there is the slot on the "Documents Reveived" page, but I can't find anything else.

I don't think it's required. None of the schools I interviewed at told me to do it. Also, the website doesn't say we have to do it before Jan. 15. However, we absolutely have to send them in (most likely) before June 1.

That's what I thought. I knew we had to sumbit everything before we matriculate, but I wasn't sure about sending in this our grades from this fall prior to the match.

I just called TMDSAS and I asked if it was required for us to send in our transcripts from the fall of this year, and she said that it was required and they need it as soon as the new grades come in. So...in short, she said that they absolutely need it before the match.

Just sent my transcripts in yesterday, and hoping to get validated soon (even if validation date has nothing to do with the match). I am thinking that TMDSAS must be receiving a truckload of transcripts from UT-Austin since December 20 was the first date that they could send transcripts with fall grades on them. BTW, I sent my transcripts online....very easy (thanks to UTKB!). TMDSAS is under the drop-down menu for "professional schools" on the online form. Hope this helps. Get 'em in soon....though it kinda sucks that we have to shell out another ten bucks during the Christmas holidays!

Not too sure how this works. I was able to interview at four schools without one of the prerequisites. Since I am far removed from U.S. schools, I've been taking the prereq through distance learning -thus, no real end to fall term. From what I understood at the interviews, all prereqs need to be completed before matriculating. Hope this doesn't affect the match.
