To beard or not to beard?

I have all summer before MS1 starts and for the first time in 3 years I do not have a job that requires me to shave. I've gone a week without and though it itches like crazy, I can tell that I am pretty capable of a full beard. So thoughts....are beards nice? Or stupid? Or even creepy?

i hate dudes who grow facial hair without ever trimming it or cleaning up the edges. I see all the indie/emo rockers with spandex tight jeans trying to pull it off but i think they look like the stereotypical homeless man. So, if youre gonna rock the facial hair, do it with a little class and dont make it look like you just lost your razor

I'm not usually a fan, but there are a few guys I've met who can pull it off and look good. So it depends on how you look, lol.

I would definitely rock a beard if I could, but sadly, I can't. Every time I try I have gaps where I can't grow hair, and it looks ridiculous. I think you should at least try it out and see how you like it.

The sweet part is the last time I tried to grow a beard(4 years ago or so), I wasn't able to. Now that I can try again it looks so far like it'll grow in nice and full. I have the nice stache-goatee connector so it should go as planned.

Maybe I'll post some pre-beard and post-beard pics in a few weeks. 😎

Beard is the obvious choice. I have bearded for all of professional school (with slight interruption for residency interviews) and will continue to beard as long as I can. At one point it was long enough for me to braid. My whole dental school celebrates moustache March EVERY YEAR. One guy in my class even rocked STARBURNS for the whole month, and another a freaking epic neckbeard, all while seeing patients fulltime.

Don't let anyone tell you you can't do it.

I had this one prof who would shave his beard ONCE A YEAR, january 1st. He looked like santa claus.

I don't think there is anyone else in the WORLD that will ever be able to grow a stache as well as Tom Selleck. His stache is legendary. Grows a nice beard too. Man if someone could grow a stache that nice they would get so much tail...
