I have an interview but can't for the life of me find which hotel we're supposed to be staying at. They must have told me by phone, as there is no mention of it in the email I was sent. In fact, the email tells me directions to the program from the hotel but doesn't say WHICH hotel. Anyone?

Never mind, it's the Baymont Inn. I figured this out by giving up and calling that hotel to make a reservation, only to find out they already had one for me. 👍

Enjoy.

I interviewed there a week ago Monday and thought it was great. I like the area and the faculty and residents were very nice.

Do you think you'll rank them highly? You must have had a better interview experience than I. While I agree that everyone was very nice, the day was incredibly disorganized. I missed interviews with three different attendings because they were either not there or the previous interviewer went over because he didn't know when he was supposed to be done. Then after my last interview, I sat there for a long time waiting for the coordinator to come back and send me off. I finally just left because I had a seven hour drive home.

Sorry to hear about your experience. The interview day was fine for me. I went to all the interviews and didnt have to wait on anyone. The disorganization could be because Mo had to wait till so late to set up interviews. They are trying to take 3 this year and 4 next year instead of taking 7 next year. To do this they need extra funding for a year to fund the 3. When I was there the hospital still hadnt given them the money and the department was going to take it out of departmental funds. This is what they told me caused the delay in starting interviews.

Columbia isnt my top pick, but they will probably be in the top half of my rank list.
