I don't know where I should post this so please move my thread if necessary...

I have a suggestion that SDN should make it possible to view ALL of a member's posts. Someone shared an amazing story on here; I wanted to browse through his old posts to see what choices he made or where he came from... but the farthest I could view was his latest 200 posts (or so?). I think it would help people in similar situations if we have an option to view all post history...

On a side note - When you click a thread from the home page of the forum list, it brings you to the newest post to you in that thread. Is there a way to do that when you're inside a forum?

If you know the username and a few keywords from the story, try going to Google and typing this:

site:forums.studentdoctor.net [username] [keywords]

for example, site:forums.studentdoctor.net phoenixfire moderators all posts returns this thread as the first result. Check it out:

http://www.google.com/search?btnG=1...ntdoctor.net+phoenixfire+moderators+all+posts

Unless I've misunderstood your question, you just need to follow the friendly arrow circled in red here:

It's there, it's just in a stupid place.

Click on the username -> view public profile -> statistics tab -> view all posts by username

Searches are limited to a maximum of 300 results displayed. That was the OP's complaint.

Advanced search for posts by the user + Sort posts in ascending order

Not the last post in the thread, but rather to the first post in the thread that you haven't previously read. For example, when you click the thread that appears under the "Last Post" column from http://forums.studentdoctor.net/ home page, and you've never viewed that thread before, you'd be directed to the first post. If you've viewed it all, you'd go to the last post. If you've viewed some portion of it, it will autojump to the newest post to you

Referring to medzealot's screencap, the icon to the left of the thread title will take you to the first unread post. For example, there are unread posts in the "Post your freshmen classes" thread (it is bolded, with a down-chevron-type icon to the left of the thread title), but none in the "Class of 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" thread (no bold, no icon).

Changed my life.

This is your answer. I can see the most current 300 posts I've made. However if I do an advanced search with a few keywords I can see posts older than the most current 300. Make sure to include the username and also change the selection from threads to posts.

I never knew about this, thanks!

Is there a way to just see all of them without knowing any info? Now I want to know L2D's first post.

in after Law2Docs first post...

Oooooh, this sounds swanky, and I'm sure I should know how to do it...but I don't. Teach me!

When you do a search, to the left is "More Search Tools" or something like that. You can click the date button and then select the custom range to enter your little filter. There you find the power.

After you search (its not there before you search) look on the left side and click "Show Search Tools."

It gives you a variety of options including time options "Anytime, Latest, Past 24 Hours, etc) - the last option is custom range...

Occasionally comes in very handy for cyber stalking...
