Any advice is appreciated,

I received a raise/was promoted recently at my career level position. I received a 20% raise and I now have additional responsibilities and some other cool things. I have also only received one II way back in August. Should I update schools briefly with this info?

Thanks and good luck to you!

Congratulations. Is there any other relevant information you can add to such a letter, like added volunteer hours since applying? Are you still in school? If so, when are fall grades due out?

Thanks! I am graduated and it is a career-level position, I also have been continuing service and shadowing.

id say put all of that in there. i have a new club position, job and new volunteering position so i think we both can get away with sending a concise update. just dont come off desperate

I congratulate you on your success, but make sure the schools you wish to update actually accept updates.

Would a poster presentation of the research project ive been working on for the last year be worthy of an update to schools that accept them? Would also include my continued volunteer position and reiterate my interest in the school

It depends on where you presented the poster and how competitive the process was for inclusion. If the presentation took place on your home campus, then not so much. If at a regional or national meeting where the submitted abstract undergoes some type of review first, then yes.
