:soexcited:HELL YES-- YAHOO! Im still in shock! I can not believe it.
Thanks to all who've given me support and well wishes. Most of all thanks to God..without whom this moment would not have been possible.

I couldnt resist starting this thread....hope you guys dont mind my selfish indulgence. :laugh:​

Well I called and the admission director asked if Id been accepted or received a waitlist invitation anywhere else. I said No. And he said the admissions committee had re-reviewed my application and felt I had worked very hard and my application had great merit and then he asked if I was still interested in attending UGA. I said Yes, then he said "Well we would like to offer you a position in this years class. Would you like to accept it?" I said ABSOLUTELY! and then preceded to scream and say thank you about 1000 times. I got off the phone and my hands were shaking.....and still are.
I felt like I was dreaming until my friend who attends UGACVM just happened by they admission door and they posted the acceptance list today and she saw my name and sent me like 20 emails to make sure I knew. Guess its official. Way to surreal. This is an amazing day.
 
That is exactly how I play out my imaginary acceptance in my head lol

This is so exciting! I really hope to meet you all someday - at a conference, SDN meet and greet party, or LVT2DVM's acceptance party...wait we're all invited right??? 😀

I posted in the wrong thread too!! Had a thing I had to go to tonight but kept checking when I could!! My whole family kept asking...did you hear? did she get in!?!? We're all VERY excited for you!

Yes! Absolutely. Well be serving my 2 favorite drinks:
1) shot of Cuervo Gold straight up :meanie:
2) Durango (like a white russian but substitute the vodca for rum)

3) SoCo n Lime. I've mentioned this several times already but I can't help myself...it's really really good!
Wait a minute, you're in Delaware??? I'm in Philly! Ok now we should def have a 2013 acceptance party where LVT2DVM will be our guest of honor.

I posted in the other thread, too, but just had to say how happy i am for you!!!!! Even my husband is cheering for you! Can't wait to meet you at the white coat ceremony in august.
 
I'm in Maryland - we could definitely get enough people together for a party someplace. 😀

No...I was called out of blue off the rejection list. I still can not believe it. This NEVER happens for Delaware contract seats. Im just thanking God and the other people who I guess got better offers for giving me this chance. They have no idea how their decision has impacted my life. I wish I could thank them.
