TOEFL code for UCSF

Hello,
this is for anybody who has applied to UCSF.in their updated website the TOEFL instituition code is given as 3838
but in the TOEFL website , instituition code for UCSF school of dentistry is given as 4840.
which one is wrong??

The correct toefl code for UCSF is 3838
dept code is 38.

i can't find this ins: code 3838 in TOEFL site.before the site was updated UCSF websie also had the code 4840.
sort of confused?anyone else who knows for sure?
No offense pooja,just making sure.tried calling UCSF but couldn't contact the person in charge.

this is for pooja,
the UCSF ins code for TOEFL is 4840.i just talked to someone in admissions at UCSF school of dentistry and they told me .they were not aware that it was given as 3838 in their website.
anyway they confirmed that it is 4840.this is in case anyone gave the wrong code.

I called ucsf and a lady told me code is 3838.I clarified the one given on toefl website.
But she was sure 3838 is correct.
I will call up again and confirm on monday

Your best bet would be to call up TOEFL.

Hello pooja,
now the code in the wesite has been corrected and it is 4840.I talked to a man in admissions on thursday who said they were not aware that in their updated website it is 3838.he told he will check and correct and yestday the website showed 4840.
who knows maybe both will work.........

hey everyone,

dis post is to clear all shadows as how to send toefl scores to ucsf dental school.
scores can be sent directly(electronically by toefl) as i have done that and confirmed receiving by ucsf.
inst code:4840 ,dept code:38..
