Hey all~

I'm really nervous about the tone question cuz my friend told me in her RC section there were lots of tone questions, and she didn't even know the meaning for the answer choice. Any one could give me some examples of the tone question vocabulary plz?? Thank you!!🙂

Here's a typical example:

Given the apropos of the neurological gradient progressing ardently in contrast to the indolent behavior, the author could be a vindicator of the following statement:

a) blah blah blah
b) more blah blah blah
c) another impossible vocabulary word blah blah blah
d) more of the same blah blah blah
e) just guess and move on blah blah blah

My skin is looking worse and worse as the winter goes on. The area around the bridge of my nose and my cheeks are very blotchy and I can't seem to even it out. Are there any products that will help with this or any natural remedies for uneven skin tone? Any suggestions / tips would be great. Thanks!

Out of the 16-17 questions per passage, only 3 of them will be tone.

If you blindly guess randomly, you have a 20% chance of answering it correctly since there are 5 answer choices. So from a statistical standpoint, you should get minimum 2 of those 9 correct.

But there has to be at least one more question that you can answer correctly on your own from skimming and S&D a passage a bunch of times through. That sums up to at most 6 wrong tone questions per RC passage.

Thus, if you take care of business on the S&D questions, then you can possibly score 44/50 correct which will be a high score.

So don't fret about these gay tone questions. Only the few who possess a true talent in reading comp ability can score 48/50 on this section.

I'm aiming for a 20 score which can be done with 36-38 correct answers.
