Here are my vitals:

MCAT: 37R
Cumulative Undergrad GPA: 3.74
Science Undergrad GPA: 3.63
Cumulative Graduate GPA: 3.79
Science Graduate GPA: 3.79
(Working on a Master's in Biology)

Schools applied to:
UPenn
Jefferson
Ohio State
Penn State
Columbia
Yale
Chicago-Pritzker
Wisconsin
Pitt
Boston University
Washington University

I didn't apply to any schools I wouldn't love to go to. At this point, I haven't gotten any rejections and I've gotten 2 interviews (Pitt and Ohio State). Am I putting myself in a bad spot by only applying to 10 schools? Is it too late to send secondaries to others? I have secondaries from several other lower level schools I didn't fill out since I was running low on funds. Suggestions?

What's your home state? Also, I have heard that BU has a history of rejecting applicants who they think have stats that are too high for them in order to appear more selective, and with a 37, that could happen.

What about your ECs?

I'm from Pennsylvania. I have 2.5 years experience as an undergraduate research assistant, I've been a biology teaching assistant 2 semesters, 2 summers as a certified nursing assistant, 1 full year working full-time on a cardiac floor in a hospital and I have 2 manuscripts almost ready to be submitted. In terms of community service/premed clubs/volunteer work, I've got basically nothing - I'm a little concerned about this.

You're from Penn?? DEFINITELY add more state schools! You have a lot. I don't see Drexel, Temple, etc on your list...any reason you haven't added them? Not a fan of Philly?

Ah now I see you have UPenn and Jefferson. You should apply to more mid-tier schools. My friend had a similar list last cycle (a bit more top-heavy) and did not get in with a 4.0 and 39 MCAT from a top-10 undergrad. I think you should add 5 more.

Your friend must have something else glaringly wrong personality or application-wise.
