I am a CA-2 currently on my second week of chronic pain rotation. I had no intentions of going into this field but I am really enjoying my time on this rotation so far. Unfortunately my ITE scores aren’t the best and I don’t have any research under my belt at this point. Is a fellowship pretty much out of the question? Thanks in advance.

If you don’t apply it is.

Jump in with both feet ASAP. Be honest in your personal statement. ITE scores were asked for by like 5% of places I interviewed with.

You really enjoying it or is it just the high from not being in the OR? 😎

I don’t remember being asked for ITE scores but things may have changed

Resurrecting this thread.. Current CA1 who is prepping for ITE now and wanting to go into pain. If ITE scores aren’t being asked for, then what is determining getting an interview? Step scores? Letters?
