Too late to add schools?

Do you guys think its too late in the game to add schools? I had some personal circumstances that limited me applying to only my two instate schools. Now things have changed and I am not limited.

It is late in the cycle, but I would check with some of the schools deadlines, maybe you can still make some of them, just keep in mind that you're going be competing for fewer seats.
I know NYU has a deadline of April 1st

i'm in a similar boat - circumstances came up that might necessitate my moving to chicago - so i faxed in an extra request form to AADSAS yesterday (the deadline for UIC). don't have high hopes of getting in, though, but i think it's worth a try - especially in your case, as there are a lot of school with later deadlines.

TZips...you might be a little late for UIC. I hate to tell you this, but last year they took ZERO out of staters. I dont think you could qualify as in state unless you have lived here in IL for at least 1 year. You have great #s and have already gotten in, I would try calling the school to see if theres a chance and if its worth it to apply (even though you already did). As an out of stater to be accepted to UIC right now you would probably need a 30/30/30 and a 4.0 gpa.

I don't think you are too late, but it is getting close. Keep in mind the turn around time for AADSAS - trust me, it won't be quick. Thus, schools the newly added schools might not get your application until well into January.

It depends on which schools you want to add. I applied in January last cycle, and happened to get in to NYU, but all my other interviews everywhere else were for alternate list spots only at that point. But it could be worth a shot some places.
