Too late to apply to more schools?

Hi Guys,
I just realized that I really should have applied to IU. I have a 3.62 GPA, science GPA 3.57, from a top ten school, and an average 20 DAT. HOWEVER, I am an out of stater, and it is pretty late in the application cycle. My application was processed by AADSAS in June, so it's all set to go, but sending my DAT scores, letters of recommendation, etc. is still going to take 1-2 months realistically. Am I too late? Am I just going to waste my money by applying (and believe me, I don't have any to waste)? Please give me any advice! Thanks

If AADSAS has not receive your DAT, LORs....then it means that your AADSAS application is registered and received by the center, but NOT processed yet. "Processed" means AADSAS has everything from you and will make copies to send everything to your school. I think you might have misunderstood the concept of "applying earlier".

IMO, i think you should apply this year. Your GPA and DAT scores are great. Schools still do interview from now until Feb or March. Your chance of getting accepted is narrowed down though because schools send out many letters of acceptance by Dec 1. However, with your GPA and DAT, you will get interview after Dec 1 and high schance of getting accepted.

I admit I might have not been so clear about my application, but no need to be condescending. Here are the nitty gritty details:
I applied to 4 schools in June- THOSE have been processed, and I have gotten interviews at all of them.
However, I want to ADD a school on to my application: IU. Therefore, AADSAS would need to copy and send my stuff to this school and this would take the 1-2 months. Is this more clear? I just don't know if I have a chance now . . . 🙁 sucks for me that I didn't think of IU 6 months ago.

Your problem might be that you may get offers from your early interviews by December 1, you would have to make a decision before you had heard about an interview from IU
