Out of state, average stats, unique traditional applicant/very strong ECs, 2 DO LORs.
Is it worth it? My MCAT score comes back on the 22nd. Not sure when I'd be verified by, but if I was 100% complete mid to late august (including secondary app), would it be too late to even have a decent shot at an interview?

TCOM accepts around 90% of in state students and around 10% OOS. It might be a little late for OOS students but it all depends on your stats as well, how are your numbers? Also, your mcat will be a huge factor. Remember that TMDSAS/TCOM does not adhere to the grade replacement policy.

With avg. stats and no mcat score it's really hard to say. Texas schools are tough for OOS. Last year 215/230 were in state. TCOM's stats are already close to our MD stats and they don't replace grades.

Not a good move. As a public school they are required to recruit 90% of the class from the state.
