Too late to cancel?

I'm applying in psych...but think this should generalize to all specialities. I have an interview at a program in one week, but am considering canceling. Is it too late to do this? I don't like to burn bridges or make programs wary of interviewing people from my school. thx

I understand your thoughts about not burning bridges, but tons of students have cancelled within 1 week. Just send a nice email. They should have a few back ups on the wait list ready to take your spot.
