Too late to register for Jan '07 exam?

Hello everyone!
I know, I know, I'm really late... I've been putting off registering for the MCAT and now it seems that all the seatings are full! A coworker of mine told me that as time goes on, people will start canceling or putting off taking the exam so that seats will free up. I am going to check 2X a day everyday from now on... ahh what was I thinking?!!
Please let me know if you have any relevant experience.

You should look into testing areas in surrounding areas, and maybe bordering states. I am sure you can find something within reasonable driving distance, although you may have to rent a hotel.
