Hi everyone. I've been reading through a lot of these post and it seems that a lot of people have already been accepted. I just decided to apply to DO school, and haven't even sent in my primary application. Is it too late to do so? My GPA is between a 2.9 and 3.0 and my MCAT is a 28Q. Please let me know what you think.

Not to be blunt, but if you've read through a lot of these posts, you would have gotten a sense of applicants in approximately the same place as you are. Refer to those posts for better clarification.

A 28Q is competitive, a GPA of a 2.9-3.0 isn't as competitive. If you're going to go for this round, do so now. Take note that some schools, such as DMU do have a cutoff GPA of 3.0 and some schools have accepted students for their incoming class. Through the matriculation forum, you should be able to gain a sense of the number of students who plan to matriculate at a particular school (have put in their deposit).

To sum things up, it is not too late because the deadline hasn't passed yet, but this is still rolling admissions and you're in the middle of the interiew period. If you're serious abut applying, do so now. Best of luck! 🙂
