Too Late???

Hey everyone.

My stats aren't exceptional (27P, 3.2..with good extracurriculars..letters..GPA trend), so I counted on applying EARLY this year to give myself the best shot possible. Well, earlier this summer I went to Peru on a medical mission and submitted all my application materials before I left...which made me feel like I was ahead of the crowd. Well, coming back from Peru (June 14th) I found out that something had messed up with my transcripts, and that they hadn't been sent.

SO...AACOMAS has JUST recieved my all my materials and will now take 4-6 weeks to process!...

My questions is...is this new timeframe I am looking at here still considered early? Or late...and how badly have my chances been affected?

AACOMAS only sent the first batch of applications yesterday. Your will probably be out in the first 2 weeks of July - I would say that's still early.

You're fine. Still earlier than the Aug test takers.

I have the same stats as you. My pre-med advisor said anytime in June is early. She said even July doesn't suck. The august test takers won't be complete until October, so think of it that way. I submitted today. It'll be fine!
