so i am using dit, first aid, and uworld....but A LOT of times i see myself going to goljan or kaplan. How can i STOP doing this. I feel like its wasting my time bc if first aid and uworld is all u need, why do I even use these other sources?

How can I keep myself from using these other sources. I tried to hide them in my closet but they came back on my desk like a ghost somehow bc sure enough, i went back to get them

I think having some extra sources is ok when u need help finding something thats not in FA or needs a better explanation than DIT.. it may be a good idea to go back if u need a better understanding of a specific topic..

but if its definitely wasting ur time, maybe u can try leaving them in ur car.. i know i wont go get them unless something was reallyyy bothering me.. and if thats the case, ill rmbr to go on my next break 😎

Sounds like you're setting yourself up for disappointment with your score. If you need the other sources (as I did), then use them. Don't psych yourself out about time wasting to such a degree that you ruin the quality of your studying by limiting what you're using to learn.

You "only need" UW and First Aid in order to do marginal on the test. If you want to truly excel at it, you should absolutely be looking at other resources.

"marginal at test" you mean getting 230-240 if you master those 2 resources xD doesn't sound like a "marginal" score to me. I'm a non green card holder foreign student and would be very satisfied with a 230..

.

I have the same view. If the OP has to look at other resources to understand a topic that just simply means that somewhere some of the fundamentals are lacking.
