Hi guys,

Took the last year or so off for a family issue and have not thought about em for many months. Now planning to return in about a month and of course nervous about how rusty I'll be. I've been out of residency a few years, boarded, etc.

Does anyone have any tips to get the rust off? I was looking at the challenger program to help, along with going over old notes ect. Just feels like I've forgotten more than I'd like (or perhaps I'm just overthinking it).

Thanks

I'd start out with a little WD40 and "Rust Off" and I think you'll be fine.

I also took a year off and returned feeling more "fresh" than before. Don't overthink it: read all that you can and be pro-active with your patients. The knowledge will return.

Take it easy. Somethings may be new but you will still know 99.9% of what is needed.
