should i retake or not.. my gpa is pretty low

You did a pretty good job! I wish you GPA was higher because then I think you would be more competitive. But really, you should be proud because your scores are very well rounded and no section is seriously lacking.

Could you tell me what the science sections were like compared to what you anticipated (like versus kaplan/destroyer or whatever)? Thanks!

You've got very competitive scores, but you're right - the GPA is going to cause you problems. I think you ought to begin prepping for another DAT, but send out applications; you may find an acceptance before another exam date rolls around. Your scores are such that it's rather borderline.

What did you use to prep?

Not bad! It'd be better if you had a slightly higher GPA...
I would suggest you take a few courses and ace them to prove them your academic skills. The only thing is that... you really gotta ace them.

Otherwise gaining work experience and engaging in a whole bunch of extracurricular activities, community service, and leadership role helps a lot, which is what I'm doing right now. What I think really helps is if you have military experience. If you already have a college diploma, you can go in as an officer, which would look really good on your application.

Yeah the GPA is a bit low but check out predents.com to see which school is in your range. Your DAT score is not bad at all, good job! Apply early!

GPA is low. I would say you are on the borderline. if you get lucky, you will get in. also depends on ur EC as well. if i were you, i would retake. invest a couple hundred of dollars on the DAT rather than 1000+ dollar for application and not get in.
