Hi, so beginning of my college career I had no intentions of going into medicine, and my goal was to just finish my biomed degree as quickly as possible and decide later what I wanted to do with my life once I graduated. I was having some financial issues, scheduling, and health issues which ultimately led me to take bio 2 and orgo 2 at a cc while being enrolled at a 4 yr. I also did take bio 1 at a cc during the summer of freshmen year because I didn't have an apartment near my school at that time. The rest of the pre reqs I did take on campus and got mostly A's and B's (If I remember correctly, I made an A in physics 2, gen chem 2. orgo 1, gen chem 1, physics 1 I made Bs).

Long story short I decided to do some shadowing and all the other pre med stuff and I really enjoyed medicine and could envision myself doing this as a career. Ever since then I made all As on my upper level classes so A in genetics, microbio, anal chem, biochem, cell bio. Overall I have a 3.8+ cgpa and 3.8+ sgpa. Will this be something I should be worried about?

I took two years of community college including bio 1/2, chem 1/2, and physics 1 along with English (which I withdrew from twice before finally passing online with a C+)

You will be fine, this will not be what holds you back.

Yes, @gonnif will arrive in moments and accurately tell you that some schools advise against it. However, this is not always the case in practice and it is out of your control anyway.

Work hard, get good grades, and keep on top of ECs. You’ll be glad you put the effort in now.

Not doomed - I myself completed almost all science pre-reqs at CC and know of many others who did the same and have been accepted/matriculated to medical school. When you decide to apply, be diligent in your school research as some schools have disqualifiers based on CC credits (i.e. don't accept certain courses from CCs or have limitations on the amount of science coursework which could be completed at a CC).

Yes, my standard disclaimer on this as many schools recommend or prefer prereqs at 4 year schools. However, I also will say that virtually all schools accept CC; only a few still ban them outright. And that if you are a traditional student who does 2 years at CC with prereqs then go to 4 year in a science major, it is unlikely to have a major impact on your chances at the bulk of non-T20 schools.
A random search of some Top Schools showed the following:
Harvard: will take several pre-reqs

Stanford: will accept

Baylor: Will take any CC credit

NYU: Case by case

Wash U: will take several pre-reqs

U Chicago: Accept some courses, others case by case

Northwestern: will take several pre-reqs

Johns Hopkins: will take most pre-reqs
NONE of the schools refused to accept CC coursework, other than those specifying case by case review.

Hence, it appears that the bias against CC coursework is declining, at least for a number of Top Schools.

I think the decline is a function of the financial state of many students in today’s market. I saved $40k going to 2 years of community college, and I think many excellent academic performers (I was NOT one of those) are choosing cost over traditional pathway. Goro, any thoughts here?

I wouldn't worry about it. If you can get an A in "anal chem" I'm sure you'll be fine in med school.
