tooth photo questions part 1

hey guys! on dental decks in the dental anatomy cards there is a section with pictures of real teeth. Does the board ask such photo questions where we have to identify the tooth even what side?

any feedback would be great! im freakin out!😳

not that i have seen or heard of for 2010. i know in the past they did. but i would assume that they are no longer using photos.

hi again! thanks so much for the reply! i'm mad and feel silly for spending so much time trying to figure those out and getting frustrated more. I'm so releived the boards won't show actual photos and ask us to id the tooth or side of the mouth!

i have the most recent version on the decks though -09/10 - i understand it's good practice to be able to id teeth but some of those photos are just bad and it makes it hard to id the tooth. If the board doesn't ask photo questions i wonder why the decks kept that section in the latest version still?

are there any other sections in the decks that aren't representative for the actual board? it's all important and good to review but is there any other section that might not be worth panicking over when we could be spending that time on other sections that for sure will be on the test?

the photos will help you because when you are taking the exam, you can picture the tooth in your head visually, rather than just trying to memorize random facts about the tooth itself. i would say that the decks cover things very well for the exam. however, the multiple choice questions will be a lot harder. and the testlets will be a lot harder as well. but if you get through the decks quickly, you will pass for sure. if you know everything in the decks 100% front and back, you can get a good score.

thanks so much for the response!! i noticed on old tests that there are drawings...should we expect those or are those outdated as well?
